Sting Brand New Day
NOTE: This show was moved from the Ippodrome del Galoppo near San Siro Stadium to Idroscalo Park, near the airport of Linate where there is a small artificial lake called Idroscalo. During "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You", Sting called Chris Botti to sing a line with him and while singing it, the band all stopped playing leaving his voice alone. Chris was so embarrassed that he started laughing and suddenly got away from the center of the stage. Everybody laughed, starting from the band to the technicians. Chris kept on laughing for a long time; Jeff Beck was the opening act.
