Radiohead announce their first US concert in 4 years

RadioheadRadiohead have announced their first US concert in 4 years, lining up four US headlining shows: July 26 and 27th at New York's Madison Square Garden and August 4th & 8th at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium. From Rolling Stone:

"These are all the headline shows that the band will play in 2016," the band's Dead Air Space notes, although that doesn't eliminate soon-to-be-announced appearances at U.S. music festivals; Radiohead have already booked a headlining gig at Quebec's Osheaga fest and have promised to "add a few more" festival appearances to their summer slate, the band said in a statement. In an attempt "to minimise secondary ticketing and to give more fans a chance to buy a ticket at its intended price, restrictions will apply, including a limit of 2 tickets per order on all shows." ... After over three years of musical inactivity, Radiohead ended their silence on December 25th to unveil "Spectre," their unused theme for the James Bond film Spectre; producers opted instead for Sam Smith's Oscar-winning "The Writing's on the Wall." Throughout 2015, Radiohead was rumored to be working on their ninth studio album. ...
